PIB program Sports, Innovation & Vitality Qatar
Orange Sports Forum started a PIB programme in cooperation with a consortium of Dutch companies (Partners for International Business) with a focus on Qatar. The consortium collaborates with the Dutch government (Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sports and the Dutch Embassy in Doha), during a multi-year programme that focusses on Sports, Innovation & Vitality. The program started in 2019 and the current participants of the consortium are: Breda University of Applied Sciences, C Sharp Sports, Game-On Technologies, Grass Valley, Johan Cruijff ArenA, Nationaal Sportscentrum Papendal, Pactive Motion, PSV Eindhoven, Schmitz Foam, SGL Concepts, GrassMaster Solutions, TU/e, Vekoma Rides Manufacturing en OSF.
They want to build sustainable relationships to share their expertise related to Sports, Innovation & Vitality and stimulate the development of sports and events in Qatar. The PIB programme contains four main topics:
- Interactive and immersive tech
- Competitive science-based nutrition
- Cutting-edge grass technology
- Transforming the stadium technology
With this multi-year cooperation, the consortium organizes several activities and events per year, like trade mission, invite business relations from Qatar to the Netherlands, create promotion material, et cetera. Please see a few examples below.
