The Netherlands Enterprise Agency and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Doha (Qatar) recently organised a seminar about the sports related business opportunities in Qatar. Qatar will host several sports events in the next few years, like for example the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships (October 2018), the World Championships in Athletics (2019), the FIFA World Cup (2022) and the World Aquatics Championships (2023). In addition to these major sporting events, more than 30 local, regional and international sporting events are hosted in Qatar each year as well. This results in enormous sports related investments and business opportunities for Dutch companies and organisations in the field of hardware and software.
To follow-up on these business opportunities, OSF is developing a PIB program (Partners for International Business) to organise a structured and a collaborative approach towards Qatar. Therefore, OSF will organise a meeting to discuss the follow-up, create a consortium and discuss the strategy towards Qatar 2022. The meeting is planned for Wednesday the 12th of September from 14:00 H until 17:00 H at SX Eindhoven. All seriously interested Dutch companies are invited to attend this meeting and eventually participate in a PIB program. The program for the meeting is stated below:
