Caribbean Sports Week 2024, Curaçao

From November 15– 20, the 3rd edition of the Caribbean Sports Week will take place on Curaçao! This week is all about sports in the Caribbean, with a focus on family sports. The aim of the event is to transfer knowledge, expand contacts and establish collaborations. Finally, this event contributes to positioning the Caribbean as an ideal hub to South, Central and North America, especially towards the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles 2028.

Thanks to the rising economy and increasing tourism in this region, the Caribbean offers plenty of opportunities for Dutch (sports) companies. There will be various seminars and roundtables on topics such as innovation, big data and inclusivity in sport. In addition, OSF will have a booth and matchmaking will take place. Of course, various sports facilities will be visited.

The Caribbean Sports Week is organized by the FDDK (website) in collaboration with various local organizations. The Caribbean Sports Week will be partly combined with the program of the Curaçao International Sports Week (website). The overarching theme is: “It Runs in the Family”.

The draft program of the Caribbean sports Week is as follows:

The Caribbean Sports Week is a great opportunity to position the Dutch business community around sports in this region. For more information about Caribbean Sports Week, please contact Rick Sleegers or Camil Smeulders via the OSF contact page.
